Approach

With a very short timeline, our discovery process was guided by a 48-hour sprint prompt to design an app using Claude AI and a weather API. We conducted rapid secondary research and competitive analysis of popular weather and travels apps to understand how forecast data is commonly presented, identify pain points in traditional weather experiences and their relationships with travel experiences and explore how AI could translate complex weather data into personalized, location-focused insights users could apply for traveling

To create an intellegent weather forecast system that helps users plan their trips within different locations.

Research & Analysis

We conducted secondary research on weather apps to analyze how weather is currently presented to users and analyzed in-app analytics to understand the pain points and user needs.

Information Architecture

Based off the crazy 8s and our ersearch findings, we made a llist of the app's content, priortizing features and information that match the wants of our users needs. This then helped us create a low-fideltiy wireframe to visualize how our feautres can apply into a layout
